Acquaint yourself with the beautiful, intelligent & versatile Arabian horse...

W
ith a rich history, the Arabian is the oldest and purest of horse breeds.  For thousands of years, Arabian horses were bred by Bedouins and lived amid the desert tribes of the Arabian Peninsula.  The horses were bred to be dependable war mounts and they developed intense affection and loyalty for their owners.
The Arabian's ability to bond with its owner is one of the characteristics that set this breed apart from other horses even today.  It is common for Arabians to develop a deep and personal relationship with their owner, at times even anticipating their thoughts and wishes.
Careful breeding of the Arabian over time has developed a horse with  high intelligence and amazing athletic ability.  The Arabian has influenced the foundation of all light breeds and continues to improve breeds with the infusion of its many attributes through breeding programs.

Arabian horses make a wonderful companion for any individual or family.  They have an easy-going temperament, smooth gaits and are willing to please.  Not only that, but Arabians are truly versatile and can be found participating in almost any discipline or event.  An all-around athlete, look for Arabians competing in trail riding, endurance riding, dressage, cutting, racing, reining, showing, and the list goes on!
